- ➤ Mid Penn Bank will acquire New Jersey's 1st Colonial Bancorp in a cash and stock deal valued at $101 million—both boards approved the merger and the deal is set to close in early 2026 pending regulatory and shareholder approvals. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Immaculata University will host two nursing information sessions on Oct. 4 at Loyola Hall: the undergraduate session at 9:00 a.m. for high school and transfer students and the accelerated BSN session at 11:00 a.m. for college graduates—faculty will explain clinical requirements and admissions details. A second accelerated nursing session will be held virtually from 6-8 p.m. on Nov. 19—students can learn more about the program and the online event. VISTA Today

- ➤ Therapy dogs from Crisis Response Canines visited Paoli Hospital's emergency department to help frontline staff relax before today—offering deep pressure therapy during long shifts.
