  • AgConnect named Meghan Klotzbach as Farmer of the Year and Rep. John Lawrence received the Duncan Allison award at a ceremony held at Mother Earth Organic Mushrooms today. Their honors recognize leadership in advancing organic farming and supporting local agriculture in the region.  VISTA Today
  • Local teen Dom Pecora runs Dom Fixes Bikes to donate hundreds of bikes during the holiday season; his team delivered 106 bikes by Dec. 21 and will distribute another 200 bikes today to recipients in Norristown, Oxford, and Havertown (community partners include Nemours Children’s Hospital).  VISTA Today

  • Horsham-based Bimbo Bakeries is working to remove artificial food dyes amid new federal and state rules. It has already eliminated dyes from sliced breads, buns, and tortillas and plans to complete the switch by 2026 — leading the industry amid stricter ingredient standards.  VISTA Today

  • Kennett Square’s La Verona marks 15 years with its annual Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. The popular event is sold out from 3 p.m. & 9 p.m., and takeout pre-orders are now available for future feasts.  VISTA Today

  • Church Farm School’s Julie Wickland, assistant to the head of school, announced her upcoming retirement after nearly 16 years at the school, and she was honored for her role in organizing campus events and various community programs — a testament to her lasting impact.  VISTA Today

  • Chester County will run sixteen new propane buses for its Chesco Connect system by February, with seven already operating (part of the county’s climate action plan) and plans to expand propane use in its seventy-four bus fleet by 2027.  VISTA Today

  • Barclay Friends in West Chester uses carefully designed memory care neighborhoods to support cognitive wellness for older adults with dementia. The facility offers structured routines, therapeutic activities, and secure outdoor gardens to reduce confusion and foster independence.  VISTA Today

  • The Eagles clinched the NFC East title with a 29-18 win over the Commanders on Saturday. Their win marks the first time in over 20 years the team has captured consecutive division titles and it secures a playoff berth ahead of upcoming games.  FOX 29
