  • West Chester-based Verrica Pharmaceuticals secured $50 million from a private stock sale that let the company retire its $35 million OrbiMed debt and extend its cash runway into mid-2027—CEO Jayson Rieger said the move will let the firm focus on promoting its FDA-approved drug Ycanth, which reached over $11.5 million in sales during the first three quarters.  VISTA Today
  • HBO’s Task season two will film in Southeastern Pennsylvania thanks to a $49.8 million tax credit - it is set to create over 3,000 new jobs and inject $194.1 million into the local economy as part of Governor Shapiro’s plan to boost film work.   • QVC Group will add 250 new jobs in West Chester after HSN relocated from St. Petersburg earlier this summer.
