- ➤ Chester County is hosting many holiday events that bring joy to the area this season. The Kennett Square Holiday Light Parade will begin on November 22nd and A Longwood Christmas will start on November 21st and run through January 11th, a food drive was held on November 14th, and toy donations will be accepted at Avondale Borough Hall on November 29th while State Senator Katie Muth’s office collects food and clothing donations throughout the season. - ➤ VISTA Today is now accepting nominations for the seventh annual VISTA NextGen Superstars Awards Reception & Celebration to honor rising professionals in Chester County for their work in business and community leadership. Nominees must be under 40 by April 30, live, work, or study in the county, and nominations will be accepted through Jan. 23 with profiles set to appear beginning March 2. VISTA Today
- ➤ The Coatesville Christmas Parade is set for Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. on Lincoln Highway and will feature over 160 entries, including floats, music and Quiet Zones for families. Sponsored by Cleveland-Cliffs with F. Breuninger Insurance as Grand Marshal, the event will have school groups, local bands and competitions—with free admission for all. VISTA Today

- ➤ Lawmakers discussed a plan to set a statewide limit on student cell phone use in schools at a hearing Monday—currently, districts follow their own rules. - ➤ New York-based Mirbeau Hospitality Services bought the 44-acre Greystone Hall in West Chester for $6.5 million on November 17th—its purchase marks the first step toward converting the property into a luxury boutique resort and spa. VISTA Today
