ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A stray dog named Tinkerbell was rescued from a freezing creek near Route 30 and Route 100 in Exton when witnesses and first responders— from West Whiteland Fire Company and West Whiteland Township Police— used a blanket to pull her from icy water; she is now recovering at Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue in Avondale and will remain under care for several weeks before adoption.  VISTA Today

  • Citadel Credit Union has doubled its business team and earned SBA certification to help local entrepreneurs in Greater Philadelphia — it will open three branches in Philadelphia and launch a podcast to share local business stories.  VISTA Today

  • Nine Revolutionary War attractions near Valley Forge National Historical Park offer visitors a chance to explore historic battlefields, colonial estates, and preserved industrial sites that played key roles in America's fight for independence — including Brandywine and Paoli Battlefields with tours and exhibits available on select days.  VISTA Today

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • SEPTA completed its federally mandated 14-point safety inspection of the Silverliner IV fleet — which led to delays and cancellations on Regional Rail — and said service will gradually return to normal by the end of November as additional safety measures take effect and 10 leased rail coach cars help ease disruptions.  FOX 29
  • Presidents from the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry, Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, Lancaster Chamber, and the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia applauded Pennsylvania's budget compromise and urged leaders to work together so schools, counties, and nonprofits have clear plans for the future— they stressed that consistent collaboration is crucial for passing next year's budget on time.  VISTA Today
