SEPTA commuters experienced delays on several regional rail lines this morning due to signal issues — service resumed after 5:30 a.m. though some trips faced delays of up to 60 minutes and select trains were canceled as mandated inspections of the Silverliner IV fleet were carried out following five fires this year.

Maria Santangelo, CEO of Barclay Friends, described her journey from growing up in Norristown—shaped by her Peace Corps service in Nepal—to leading a respected senior care community that opened a 24-bed secure Dementia Care neighborhood in May and is now working with local officials to spread awareness about Dementia Care. She aims to build on these efforts to further establish the community’s expertise in senior care throughout Chester County.

Carlino's Market in Ardmore is sharing its family Italian sausage focaccia stuffing recipe for Thanksgiving that uses dried focaccia cubes, browned sausage, and fresh herbs—this recipe honors a legacy started by the founders and runs in their West Chester store as well.
