  • WCU will host a series of free Veterans Day programs starting Tuesday November 11 that include a panel discussion on veterans, justice, and community held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Business and Public Management Center (with a Zoom option available) and additional career support sessions for student veterans. A free virtual veteran suicide prevention training will be held on Wednesday November 12.  VISTA Today
  • Sow Good Now, a Downingtown nonprofit that connects student-athletes with underserved youth, has been selected to receive the 2025 Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award from the AFP Greater Philadelphia Chapter. The award will be presented at the National Philanthropy Day breakfast on November 12 at The Crystal Tea Room (Philadelphia's historic Wanamaker Building).  MyChesCo

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Neuronetics awarded RSUs to 12 new employees as part of its 2020 Inducement Incentive Plan, with each grant vesting in equal annual installments if they continue working.   • PMC Property Group acquired Ten Penn Center in a $30M deal on November 8th from Sterling Equities and Greenville Partners and will convert the 27-story office building into residential apartments. The purchase was finalized more than three months after initial talks and comes as Center City properties are increasingly being reconfigured for living spaces.  VISTA Today
