- ➤ The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is recruiting volunteers to serve as parade marshals for the West Chester Christmas Parade on Dec. 5 with a tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. Volunteers will wear fuzzy red hats and official vests, help guide the parade along an eight block route and vote on contest winners—instructions will be sent in mid-November. - ➤ Ben du Pont, a duPont family entrepreneur, said his venture capital firm Chartline Capital Partners will invest $36 million in fintech startups to help low- and moderate-income communities, and that Longwood Gardens will add new greenhouses—promising more garden innovations and future products.
