ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ PECO honored 20 municipalities and nonprofit organizations with over $200,000 in grants from its 2025 Green Region Open Space Program to fund local projects that preserve and enhance open spaces in southeastern Pennsylvania. In celebration of the program's 20th anniversary, Delta Borough received a $50,000 bonus to upgrade lighting at its Mason Dixon Fairgrounds — a project that will reduce energy use, lower costs, and cut greenhouse gas emissions.
