- ➤ Chester County businessman Robert Miller was chosen by Novastone Capital Advisors to lead a search fund to buy a healthcare manufacturing company in the Philadelphia region. - ➤ Kelly Laubach has been named Chester County's new Director of Procurement and General Services after more than 20 years of purchasing experience. She will work with department heads to plan cost-effective purchases — ensuring fair vendor competition — and monitor contracts for compliance. VISTA Today
- ➤ PennDOT has opened grant applications for the Rail Transportation Assistance and Rail Freight Assistance Programs with $41 million available to improve rail infrastructure until August 29. Eligible organizations may apply online starting at 8:00 a.m. on August 4 — the program aims to support safety upgrades and job growth across the state. WFMZ-TV
