  • Wine and spirits producers warned that the new $1 per case fee approved by the PLCB on July 16 will add $15–$17 million in costs annually and may lead suppliers to raise prices for consumers. The PLCB said the fee offsets warehousing costs & helps manage inventory at its distribution centers while noting it will not increase prices unless suppliers request it.  The Philadelphia Inquirer
