- ➤ The Oscar Lasko YMCA in West Chester will open a new esports lab in September to give kids a safe space for gaming and STEM activities. The lab features 12 PC stations and three TVs connected to gaming consoles plus human proctors to monitor cyber safety. VISTA Today
- ➤ Dower House, the oldest continuously occupied home in West Chester, was built from records dating back to 1712 and has stood as a symbol of the area’s history — current owners Tait and Lisa Norden work with local firms to modernize it while preserving its charm. VISTA Today

- ➤ A new West Goshen Target store is set to open on Aug 17 at 985 Paoli Pike in West Chester’s West Goshen Shopping Center. The 120,000-square-foot store — which will have a CVS Pharmacy, a Starbucks, and about 120 team members — will offer drive up, order pickup, same-day and next-day delivery with operating hours from 8 AM to 11 PM.
