- ➤ PennDOT announced a paving project that will close lanes on Route 3 on West Chester Pike between Westtown Road and Spring Lane from Monday, July 21 through Friday, August 8. Work will occur on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. as Highway Materials Inc. leads a federally funded project—drivers should expect delays and extra travel time due to weather dependence. - ➤ State Senator Carolyn Comitta is urging West Chester residents to donate new backpacks at her district office at 17 E. Gay Street to help students from families served by the Crime Victims Center of Chester County.
