🎓 Education
On July 5th, the Pennsylvania House passed a bill that would require all elementary schools to teach cursive writing—if enacted, the state will join 25 others with the requirement.
The move comes as schools saw a decline in cursive instruction after Common Core shifted education priorities.

Kevin and Nadia Young built a 3,500-square-foot sustainable home on a 13-acre lot in West Chester after they could not find a place to settle down with their son and moved in in 2019.
The house has solar panels that supply 80 percent of its energy, geothermal heating, energy-efficient appliances, and a yard with 200 trees and 15 fruit trees, and it is only eight minutes from downtown.
