  • Peter Abrams of Abrams Realty & Development finalized the purchase of Exton Square Mall and announced plans to demolish most of the property to build a mixed-use town center—this project will add apartments and restaurants behind Boscov’s. Boscov’s CEO Jim Boscov said the store will continue to draw traffic as the redevelopment transforms the center into a vibrant Main Street area.  VISTA Today

CRIME NEWS

  • Two individuals with outstanding warrants were arrested Tuesday afternoon following a joint drug investigation—Parkesburg Borough Police and Chester County Detectives executed search warrants in Atglen and Parkesburg Boroughs around 4:45 p.m., recovering additional evidence for further review.  MyChesCo

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that Route 3 in West Goshen Township will have overnight lane closures from Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, July 11 for a corridor improvement project — motorists should plan extra travel time. Highway Materials, Inc. is leading the work — all operations are weather dependent.  MyChesCo
