  • The Brandywine Valley Water Garden Tour will take place July 26—27 to benefit the Chester County Food Bank, with tickets allowing visits to more than 30 local water gardens and a barbecue on Saturday at Turpin Landscaping headquarters at 287 Martins Corner Road in Coatesville.   • Travel and Leisure Magazine ranked Phoenixville as the best small town to live in because it is walkable and affordable. Borough manager Gene Krack said the town has focused on quality of life and seen a 30% population rise since the last census.  6abc Philadelphia

  • SEPTA passed a new budget on Thursday that cuts services by 45% and raises fares by 21.5%, endangering five Regional Rail lines including the busy line serving Paoli and Thorndale with over 15,000 daily riders—if state lawmakers do not step in.
