Good morning, West Chester.

PECO is investing $9.3 billion in electric and natural gas upgrades — aimed at handling forecasted 90-plus degree heat and severe storms next week — and has distributed nearly 600 free fans to help local households manage energy use.
🌲 Environment
After Thursday’s storms downed trees and damaged power lines, thousands of homes remain without electricity as a dangerous heat wave hits with temperatures expected to reach the mid-90s today and near 100 later in the week.
Utility crews will work until 11 p.m. tonight to restore service while officials advise residents to stay hydrated, wear light clothing, and visit public cooling centers if needed — many still face life without air conditioning.
