Former Crozer Health employees attended a job fair at Subaru Park on May 16—employers, community groups and local officials offered help for workers affected by 3,000 layoffs.

More than 700 registrants, along with 226 employers and 30 organizations, came together to provide new job opportunities.

White School Road in Honey Brook Township—where detours are set up for necessary pipe replacement work—will close from Tuesday, May 27 to Friday, June 6 on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Drivers will follow Pleasant View Road, Buchanon Road and Homestead Road while local residents maintain direct access.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will begin milling and paving work today through May 22 on several state highways in Chester County, causing closures on Modena Road, Buck Run Road, and Strasburg Road from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.—motorists are advised to follow detour routes and allow extra travel time as weather may delay the work.
