GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Drivers on eastbound U.S. 422 in North Coventry Township will face lane closures from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18 and Tuesday, May 19 as PennDOT installs electrical cable during an $83.6 million expressway reconstruction project. MyChesCo
- ➤ PennDOT will close eastbound lanes on U.S. 30 from Sunday, May 17 through Thursday, May 21 for pavement preservation plus bridge repairs. Overnight closures affect the segment between the Bailey Road Overpass and Business U.S. 30, and a daytime lane closure on Monday will occur between Wagontown Road and Route 82. MyChesCo
- ➤ Uwchlan Township will decommission its aging Eagleview Wastewater Treatment Plant next month to divert wastewater to Downingtown Area Regional Authority, cutting treatment costs from $5.88 to less than $1 per gallon without raising taxpayer rates.
