  • Safe Harbor hosts its annual Pints With a Purpose Cornhole Tournament fundraiser to support individuals facing homelessness. The event takes place Wednesday, June 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Locust Lane Brewery in Malvern + neighbors can choose to compete or relax while giving back.  VISTA Today

  • Extreme Hospitality took over Hotel Warner’s operations in West Chester to boost guest experience, revenue and community ties. The hotel, originally established in 1930 as the Warner Theatre, keeps its historic charm in its lobby and grand staircase (the report confirmed).  VISTA Today

  • The Henrietta Hankin Library will host a PBS documentary screening and expert panel on the American Revolution on Monday, May 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. Registration is required (light refreshments will be served) for this educational event.  VISTA Today

  • Invasive snakehead fish from China, Russia & Korea have been spotted in waterways across Chester, Delaware and Bucks counties, and the USGS warns the species may out-compete native fish for food and habitat.  VISTA Today

  • Chester County Hospital will host ¡SALUD! Family Wellness Day on Saturday, May 9 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Saint Agnes Parish (Thomas Patrick Hall Gym, enter via New Street) in West Chester. Families can access free health screenings, kids’ activities, raffles and snacks.  VISTA Today

  • 12-year-old cancer survivor Brayden Baldwin trains at West Chester’s Ice Line Quad Rinks through a program that combines hockey practice with remote schooling.
