  • Chester County’s Schuylkill River Trail was named Pennsylvania’s most beautiful trail by Visit PA. The 75-mile completed segment of the planned 120-mile route includes a section exceeding 30 miles from Philadelphia to Parkerford — a great day-hike and scenic option for local outdoors enthusiasts.  VISTA Today
  • According to Stacker's ranking (using 2022 Niche data), eight towns in Chester County are featured among the top 100 best places to live on the East Coast, with Chesterbrook named best nationally.   • West Chester’s Meradia was acquired by F2 Strategy, a portfolio company of Renovus Capital Partners, and chose the borough as its headquarters after moving from Chicago; the firm plans to hire more local talent (currently 50 employees).  VISTA Today
  • Chester County native Reuben Riehl launched Lancaster County Cannabis from his basement four years ago and now runs a booming Amish hemp business that moved 50,000 pounds generating $500,000 in sales today — he aims to hit $1 million next year if new contracts in California and the Midwest finalize.  VISTA Today
  • Former Chaddsford Winery general manager Corey Krejcik is launching Proximity Wine Bar in Unionville, sourcing food and beverages solely from local suppliers (within 100 miles) and offering classes and tastings.   • Southern fast-casual chain Chicken Salad Chick is set to bring six locations to Chester and Montgomery counties.
