- ➤ On May 6, the Parkesburg POINT Youth Center hosted 'Soar to New Heights' at Octorara Area High School in Atglen where Philadelphia Eagles champion Brandon Graham, his wife Carlyne, and NFL star Moro Ojomo shared stories of hard work — inspiring local youth. - ➤ WCU alumnus Jake Henry won first place at Salisbury University’s Shore Hatchery Program competition and earned a $35,000 prize for his startup Lectra Tech’s opioid‑free pain relief device designed to treat musculoskeletal pain. The device, developed at WCU and inspired by his mother’s battle with osteoarthritis, will launch later this year after raising $375,000—he beat out 150 applicants and 15 finalists. VISTA Today

- ➤ A Conestoga High School teacher has been charged with felony sexual assault, corruption of minors, and delivery of a controlled substance after she allegedly engaged in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student—she is not in custody because a medical emergency delayed her arrest. FOX 29
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ West Chester University’s Wells School of Music held its eighth annual Concert on the Quad on May 1 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at (720 S. High Street) where four ensembles performed free music for students and the public while family-friendly activities such as ASL interpretation and therapy dogs were available. VISTA Today

Rheinstadter is an associate attorney at Lamb McErlane P.C. who joins the 2025 VISTA NextGen Superstars and will be honored on May 8 at the Penn State Great Valley Conference Center as she advises public and private groups on municipal and environmental law across Chester County.
