On Thursday, the Pennsylvania House Communications & Technology Committee approved a resolution that urges Congress to change copyright law to protect creative workers from AI.
The measure, introduced by Rep. Kristine Howard at the committee's first voting meeting chaired by Rep. Joe Ciresi, targets issues like data scraping—using copyrighted work without permission to train AI.

The Eagles drafted former St. Joseph’s Prep quarterback Kyle McCord with the 181st pick in the sixth round—he played one season at Syracuse after leaving Ohio State.
Four picks later, Downingtown native Will Howard was selected by the Steelers following his national championship win at Ohio State.
