  • Gas prices are climbing during spring break as AAA reports an average of $3.80 per gallon compared to $3.22 a year ago, costing drivers roughly $8.12 more per fill-up. AAA advises slowing down and checking car condition to improve fuel economy and save money.  WFMZ-TV

  • West Chester resident Chris Kearney, a Downingtown High School West teacher, achieved his lifelong dream by appearing on Jeopardy last week — after eight years of trying he placed second on the show in California.  VISTA Today

  • French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust completed a conservation easement on March 18 to permanently protect Hugh and Sally Willig's 18-acre property on Sycamore Lane in Charlestown Township, adding more open space and essential wildlife habitat for the community.  VISTA Today

HEALTH NEWS

  • Rothman Orthopaedics announced it is expanding its team with 41 new physicians to reach 214 providers — a move that began in summer 2025 and will continue through December. The expansion adds specialists in Greater Philadelphia and Greater Orlando to improve access to orthopedic care.  WFMZ-TV
