ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Chadds Ford Township is considering joining Bird Town Pennsylvania after a presentation by President Heidi Shiver — she outlined steps to protect local birds. FINANCE NEWS

  • First Resource Bancorp’s board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.02 per share, marking its first regular payout since founding and a milestone for the local bank serving businesses and residents; the dividend will be paid (Mar. 20) to shareholders of record (Mar. 6).  MyChesCo

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • State officials announced funding for small businesses, industrial sites and a manufacturing expansion that will create jobs. The package includes $15 million for micro-grants, over $31 million for shovel-ready projects and more than $3 million in support, with applications open on a rolling basis.  MyChesCo
