  • Five Star Restaurant Group, owned by Philip and Kate Ferro, will franchise its Chadds Ford Tavern-based concept for national expansion. The couple has streamlined operations—making it simpler to replicate at other sites in Delaware, Paoli, and Coatesville.  VISTA Today

CULTURE NEWS

  • Jerry Seinfeld has added a second show at Santander Performing Arts Center and will perform soon. Ticket and showtime details are pending (local listings will have updates).  WFMZ-TV
  • Longview Farm + Gallery in Chester Springs will host Philadelphia-based artist Leroy David Nunery III’s solo exhibition 'Hyperobjects' starting March 7 with an opening reception from 5-8 p.m., a midshow on April 4, and closing on April 25 at 143 Cedar Ln.  VISTA Today

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • PennDOT crews will repair potholes on more than 30 state highways across Chester, Bucks, and surrounding counties the week of Feb. 23. Motorists may face lane closures and slowdowns during daytime repairs, so plan extra time.  MyChesCo
  • FirstEnergy Pennsylvania filed a new default service plan with the PUC that proposes fewer auctions, safeguards to limit high rates, and shorter peak hours from 3-7 p.m. The commission will rule on the plan by the end of 2026, which could stabilize power costs + boost competition.  WFMZ-TV

HEALTH NEWS

  • The Chester County Health Department inspected restaurants on Feb. 19 and found unsanitary conditions including cockroaches at a Lionville eatery, improper glove use at a Kennett Square bistro, and raw meat stored above dairy at a West Chester club. The establishments must clean up + follow health guidelines.  MyChesCo
