- ➤ A Cumberland County farmer declined a $15 million bid for his 261-acre property and opted for preservation. Silver Spring Township used taxpayer funds (via a 2013 referendum) in partnership with Lancaster Farmland Trust to formally preserve the land on Dec. 30. VISTA Today
