  • Safe Harbor of Chester County has opened registration for several 2026 events supporting homeless services. Trivia Night runs Feb. 26 at the Chester County History Center in downtown West Chester and Cheers for Change is on Mar. 11 at Teca Restaurant and Wine Bar — more events follow through early June.  VISTA Today

  • Chef Francis Pascal has expanded his culinary footprint by opening L’Olivo Trattoria in Eagleview Town Center in Exton. The restaurant offers Italian dishes inspired by family recipes and his heritage.  VISTA Today

  • Andiario’s in West Chester was named one of the top 10 Philadelphia restaurants by The Philadelphia Inquirer on Jan. 30. Chef Anthony Andiario offers weekly seasonal pre-set dinners at $80 per person & reservations are required.  VISTA Today

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Pennsylvania American Water urges West Chester residents to prepare for sub-freezing conditions, reminding homeowners to check water shut-off valves (internal plumbing is their responsibility) and insulate exposed pipes to prevent costly repairs.  VISTA Today

  • The Women's Auxiliary to Chester County Hospital will host its annual Tacos & Trivia Night on Saturday, March 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hershey’s Mill Golf Club—tickets cost $50 and must be reserved by Feb. 25 to support a $2M cancer care expansion.  MyChesCo
  • Billionaire Jared Isaacman announced a $30 million gift to boost pediatric & emergency care in Pennsylvania, including an expansion at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Brandywine Valley and upgrades at UPMC Children’s and The Guthrie Clinic to support families in Chester county and underserved areas.  MyChesCo
  • The Chester County Health Department inspected West Chester restaurants on Thursday, Jan. 29 and found food safety violations at Osteria Ama, Tsunami Asian Fusion, and West Chester Pizza Cafe (issues ranged from unclean equipment to improper food storage); officials stressed the reports reflect conditions at the time of inspection.  MyChesCo
