- ➤ VISTA Today extended the nomination deadline for the VISTA NextGen Superstars program to Friday, Jan. 30, allowing Chester County to nominate young local leaders under 40. Winners will be announced from Feb. 10 & awards celebrated at Penn State Great Valley on April 30. VISTA Today

- ➤ Chester County will welcome several new grocery stores this year, including Kimberton Whole Foods launching its 14,000 sqft location at Eagleview Town Center in spring and West Chester Cooperative opening a new store later, while Aldi and Sprouts plan to debut in Phoenixville. VISTA Today
- ➤ Last week, Malvern-based Ocugen closed a $22.5 million stock offering that raised the total funds for local life sciences past $250 million. The company said the funds would finance corporate purposes, capital expenditures, and working capital — marking the end of a long funding drought. VISTA Today

- ➤ Local nonprofit Main Line Mural Arts has installed nearly a dozen outdoor murals in Berwyn & Devon to celebrate Chester County's art scene. The group plans to expand their work to surrounding townships & schools to bring more vibrant murals to the community. VISTA Today

- ➤ The Arc of Chester County is accepting spring registrations for its free Chat n’ Chew virtual trainings that cover topics from Medicare to transition planning for individuals with disabilities. Sessions will take place 11:30 a.m. every Wednesday from Feb. 18 through Apr. 29. VISTA Today

- ➤ State officials urge eligible seniors, disabled adults, and widows and widowers to apply for the expanded property tax and rent rebate program for 2025 — now offering up to $1,000 in relief after last year’s $314M distribution.
